Jake Baird
Head Boxing Coach/Co-Owner

From Rochester, NY, with over 20 years boxing experience, Jake started boxing when he was 15 years old. Trained by Robert Johnson and his protégé and former IBF Light Welterweight champion Charles “The Natural” Murray, Jake has had a decorated amateur career, winning a regional Golden Gloves competition, a silver medal at the Empire State Games, and a gold medal at the Rochester Puerto Rican Festival. Jake has spent countless rounds sparring in pro fight camps with boxers such as Willie Monroe Jr., Russell Jordan, Robert Frazier, Nick and Tony Brinson, and others. Jake now spends his time passing down his decades of boxing knowledge to the students of Immortals Boxing. Jake is a certified USA Boxing Bronze Level Coach.

Mark Sutton
Gym Manager/Co-Owner/Boxing Coach

Born and raised in the Bay Area, CA, Mark started boxing when he was 18 years old. After learning the basics at one of the top boxing gyms in Oakland, Mark moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and started training under the late, legendary California heavyweight champion, Coach Stan Ward. Coach Stan would develop Mark’s boxing style over the next few years, spending countless rounds drilling the jab, sparring amateurs and future pros at different gyms in the area, and sharing knowledge from the golden era of boxing. Mark met Jake after they sparred at a local boxing club in 2019, and after realizing they shared a lot of the same boxing philosophy, they decided to create Immortals Boxing and pass down their knowledge to others. Mark is a certified USA Boxing Green Level Coach.

Mahogany Williams
Boxing Coach

From New York City, with almost a decade of boxing experience, Mahogany has a lot of accomplishments in a short time in her boxing career. She placed as a Silver Medalist for the 2020 Olympic Qualifiers and has also been a finalist in a Golden Gloves Tournament. A product of the world famous Gleason’s Gym in NYC, Mahogany has been trained by Laila Ali’s former trainer Kevin Morgan, as well as former world champion Leon Moore. Mahogany now spends her time as a boxing coach, and as an active boxer looking to make her pro debut in the near future.

Nestor

Born and raised in East LA, with over 25 years boxing experience, Nestor was a pro boxer with a record of 23-3. In 2009, he challenged Hozumi Hasegawa for the WBC World Bantamweight Title. After his successful professional career, he started coaching amateur boxers at local gyms and now he’ll be sharing his knowledge with us at Immortals!
